failed restore

Hello,

i will restore a password protected archiv.
i become the following failure but the password is correct

URI der Backups vom Backup-Archiv 'arl:/A2ABE4EF-6DB3-445A-908E-0D285D1E28D5/9F730949-3BD6-4860-8F80-15C1A146CEE6/BB4FFA29-AD21-435E-BD97-93050F040233?archive_name%3dsrv-dc01' mit dem Archiv-Kennwort '' und den Speicherort-Anmeldedaten '{ UserName = , ... }' konnte nicht erhalten werden.

I would really appreciate if you could get back to me with some additional information which will allow to get this problem fixed:

1. What is your backup location?

2. Did you enable encryption? Which one?

3. Is this a virtual appliance?

4. What type of archive is it, single file for all backups for example.

2. i habe enable encryption with aes 128
3. it is not a virtual appliance
4. it is a single file for all backups

Thank you for the clarification.

In this situation, would you be kind enough to perform the following, because currently we do not have any known issues with passwords similar to the one you described above.

To localize the issue, would it be possible for you to install the virtual appliance? Does it function properly?

Do you have any other Acronis software on that computer where you have this issue?

Also, at what step do you get the password error, in the recovery wizard or when the backup task is about to start?

i have install the virtual Appliance but the same issue.
on that computer it is the single acronis product
i have the error in the recover wizard.
i can click on the archiv and he tell me to give him the password. this works fine, but when i close with ok no vm is available to restore and in the log is standing wrong password.
so what can i do

i noticed the following.
On the machine i made the backup, i can restore the archive.
when i install the software on a other server ( fully disater ) i have the failure above

I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience, in this situation I am afraid I would recommend to contact our Support team directly so that we may investigate this issue via a remote session.

As another workaround, you can place the backup in a different folder and see how that performs. It is possible there is another .tib file with a password, however, this needs to be investigated.
