Multiple vmprotect appliances integration

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Is it possible to enable vcenter integration for 2 appliances at once? For some reason we need to use 2 acronis appliances under 1 vcenter, however when i register integration on appliance 1 and than integration on appliance 2 integration on appliance 1 is disabled.

Thanks,

Lubos

Hi Lubos,

Note that vCenter Integration adds only GUI controls in vSphere client interface so that you can manage backup/recovery tasks from vSphere client. It is therefore possible to enable only 1 vCenter integration at one time (from 1 appliance). You can however use 2 separate appliances which both will be connected to vCenter (under Configure->ESXi hosts you can add the same vCenter on both appliances) and will be able to perform backup/recovery tasks simultaneously. In this case you can enable vCenter Integration on only one of these 2 appliances.

P.S. Sorry for the delayed response - your post for some reasons is not shown in the main forum threads list. Our forum team is now investigating the reasons for such behavior.

Thank you.
