nfs storage mounted as datastore after mailbox restore

Thread needs solution

After exchange mailbox restore, the temporary mounted nfs share is showing as a datastore but no VM is associated to it. Is it suppose to be there? Is it safe to delete?

Hi!

The NFS datastore created while you Run VM from backup or when you perform Exchange e-mails/mailboxes recovery, can be safely deleted/unmounted from the vSphere after these operations are finished. There are no special locks applied to it from Acronis Agent (appliance or Windows Agent) side, so it should be possible to safely remove the datastore. Note that in some cases (HA in your case) this datastore can be expanded to other hosts in vSphere cluster, so it has to be unmounted from the particular original ESXi host configuration (Configuration tab->Storage for this host in vSphere client).

Thank you.
