Not Receiving SNMP Traps from VMProtect 9

Thread needs solution

I am having trouble getting PRTG's trap receiver sensor to receive traps from Acronis VMProtect 9. I've configured PRTG's sensor to receive traps from any host and listen for OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.24769.100.200.2.0 but no traps show up when I click Test. I have disabled Windows firewall and made sure that nothing else is using port 162 on hat virtual machine. I've received knowledgebase article http://kb.acronis.com/content/11851 but I am unable to get it to work. I'm reaching out to the community here because I feel like I have PRTG's sensor set up correctly.

I've also tried Trap Receiver but it does not receive the test trap either.

Any thoughts on this? Let me know what other information is needed.

Hi!

First of all I'd recommended checking whether there is SNMP traffic going from vmProtect agent by installing Wireshark and capturing the traffic. There can be various reasons for not receiving the traps, thought he most likely one is the firewall setup, which can be pretty tricky depending on the environment.

Thank you.
