Felder: PartitionId : 221
Nachricht: Erzwungener Sektor-für-Sektor-Modus.

Fehlercode: 37

We make some modification in VMware Tools for the VSS Writer.
On the RD and SQL Server it works but not on the AD.

We run a Chkdsk on every HDD

What can we do else

Best regards
Christian

Hi Christian,

Please see my reply in the following comment related to similar problem ("MFT bitmap corrupted" mentioned there is the same problem as "Index corrupted" in yours one): https://forum.acronis.com/forum/42770#comment-134286 . In short - if the workarounds (disabling "Shadow Copy Optimization Writer" as described in https://kb.acronis.com/content/36993) do not help then it is safe to ignore this message. It doesn't affect any functionality except for performance of the 1st full backup which will be slower.

Thank you.

Will this bug ever be fixed? Some of our customers are going nuts about these errors in the logs.

Hi Geert,

Yes, we do plan to fix this particular problem and remove the message from appearance in the log file by fixing the root cause (inability to read NTFS journal) - the improvements are planned for the next version. Note that the backup task should complete successfully despite this message (which must be marked as "Information" one) and marked as successful everywhere in the GUI, since if it's not the case then it's a different problem.

Thank you.
