Hello Kristian,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the forum. I will do my best to help you.

You can change it the following way:

Click on Configure->Backup Settings->Notifications->E-mail - this way you can change your default password.

If you need to change it in your backup task please navigate to View->Tasks and change it on the last step of the wizard in More Options.

Please let me know if you need additional help.

Thank you.

For the guy that posted the email password problem. You did not put the password in incorrectly. The program has a bug. You can put the password in the system and do a test and it works. If you save this, go to another menu and come back, the email test will not work. It does not send email notifications. I am using this on XPPro testing it out. I have found a ton of bugs and unusual behavior in the applicaton. I am thinking for $500, it should be solid. You need to have normal experienced end users do your beta testing. Don't let the programmers do the testing. I downloaded the application VMProtect 6 a few days ago and it says there are no updates. I am with Computer Solutions out of Texas and we were giving consideration to becoming partners with Acronis but I am a bit worried about the user Interface behavior in the two products that I have tested. The concept and backups are awesome.

Hi.
The E-Mail-Notification works fine for me ! But i dont put in a Password. It only goes without a Password.
The Windowsagent runs under Server 2008R2 !

Thanks for the comment. It must have something to to with the authentication feature. I will allow my mail server to relay from this unit, try with no authentication and see if it works.
