Problems creating Backup-Task

Hi, installed vmProtect without problems. Want to create a new Backup-Task. I specify the target folder for the backup. i fill out the username and the password and after that i recieve the following errors:

have tried to log in with a special username like vmprotect (as domainuser) and with the admin-account (domain admin). but always the same error. if i try to log on with a local user named vmprotect it works.

Has anyone an idea how to log on?

Are you certain you have correct permissions for vmProtect to connect. Basically this is just a permission thing i.e. It can't access the Backup location specified.
Specifically, look at the first Error Message: "Access is denied"

You haven't indicated where you are backing up to. Personally I use NFS and had this issue until I fixed my permissions on my NAS.
Create a test backup location and give FULL permissions for all and see if that works.
