Questions about Cloud backup

Thread needs solution

Hello,

We setup Acronis for VMware (vmprotect 9) for a client and it works fine for local backups but we would like to make a copy of the backup using Acronis Cloud.

It is taking to long to upload the backups and killing the internet speed of the client. I see nowhere to throttle the speeds of the backups to the cloud during business hours or anywhere to make a Initial Seeding recovery to send hard drives of the backups.

Why is this not implemented in the VMProtect 9 product when it is implemented in the other Acronis products.

We might have to look elsewhere for cloud backup because of this. The backups will never finish to the cloud.

Hi!

Thank you for the feedback! We've seen requests for these features for some time (especially Initial Seeding) and were trying to add it into Acronis Backup for VMware (former vmProtect 9), however there were several significant obstacles in our infrastructure which forced us to postpone the changes. We are planning to add the Initial Seeding and network throttling options into the next version of Acronis Backup for VMware - both of these features are included into the scope of the project and we're actively working on them.

Thank you.
