SBS 2011 Backup Issue
Hi,
We have been having the following issue for about 3 weeks. It appears related to the backup cleanups, but I am not sure if it is to do with VMProtect or VMWare itself.
VMProtect 7.0.5.155 is in place
We are using it to backup a SBS 2011 VM
The backup process completes successfully, but the cleanup process is causing problems.
The 'Remove Snapshot' task appears in the logs, and is taking about 90 minutes to complete.
This previously took 1-2 minutes.
At the completion of the Snapshot removal, the actual SBS machine is not visible.
All Outlook machines report the server is online.
I cannot access or mange the machine via either RDP or through vSphere
After 4-5 minutes, connectivity is restored.

ps: purhaps an idea do you have vcenter installed? on windows or the appliance? and have you enabled the webclient? i noticed the webclient leaking memory and slows down vcenter and also i have hanging tasks because of this. then removing the webclient will free memory and not bug the normal vcenter operations

It's running VMWare ESXi and vSphere 5.0 from the initial releases (they haven't been updated or patched as yet)
What specifically was your issue and resolution with snapshots / vmware?

Where can I check / disable it if on?
We dont have any real need for the web client in the environment it is deployed in
