Hi!
The error related to 'DeleteDirectyrInGuest' API call is typically triggered by high load imposed onto Exchange/SQL server when reading the transaction logs from it during application-aware backup. You should check the CPU usage inside the VM at the time of the backup and if it peaks up to 90+% in the end then you need to truncate the Exchange logs manually.
Please see https://kb.acronis.com/content/45266 where this problem is described.
Thank you.

Hi,
guest is not "overloaded" so far, if the logs are truncated I´m not sure, but still this dawn folder stays after the job and the job gives a warning, no other helpful hints?

Hi Peter,
I'd recommended to contact our support team for further investigation with a link to this thread. Likely we'll need to check the vmware.log from the backed up VM to see VMware Tools-related events in it and also hostd.log from the ESXi host which may give more clues.
Thank you.
