Uninstall vmProtect8 from VMware ESXi

Thread needs solution

I am trying to uninstall the vmProtect8 from an ESXi. I cannot find a document mentioning a clear procedure for this task. I am new to vmProtect and deploying it in VMware environment.

thanks.

Hi Rami,

In case you have deployed Acronis vmProtect as Virtual Appliance to your ESXi host then uninstallation means simple deletion of the appliance via vSphere client. Simply shutdown the appliance (which is a VM), right click on it and choose "Delete From Disk" option. It will remove everything completely.

Thank you.

Yes actually it is described in the user guide as well: http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/AVMP9/index.html#14886.html (though it's really a short description since the process is quite easy anyways :))
