VM Replicate success but can not startup.(vmProtect 9)

Thread needs solution

Following is our environment.
1.ESXI 5.5
2.VMware VCenter 5.5
3. Vmprotect 9 install as the VM in host machine.
We use the application(Vmprotect 9) to do the operations(backup or replicate)on the vm and system shows successful message. However, we try to startup those VMs(backup or replicate). It can not be start up successfully. The screen shows the message which can be seen in the attachment. We use "VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client" convert the instance to the host. The convert instance can be successfully startup from the host machine.

Hi,

It makes sense to contact our support team for assistance with the issue - the error shows that the bootability of the system has not been recovered properly during restore and it has to deal with the specifics of the source system you are trying to back up or replicate. Note that there should be different behavior when you restore the VM from backup and when you replicate it - in case of replication the VM is copied "as is" without patching the bootability.

Thank you.
