vmProtect 7 Scalability Question

Thread needs solution

Hello.

I am looking for a backup product for our VMware environment and am wondering if vmProtect will scale to our needs.

We have a little less than 200 VMs, six hosts, 2 geographically separate sites (datacenters/clusters) with 2 hosts in one site and four in the other. We have been using VMware's VDR to good success but are looking for something better.

I see on this page (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/vmprotect/#comparison) that it lists the scalability of vmProtect as "1-100 VMs", which would be far short of our needs.

What's the experience been of users of vmProtect? Have been been using it in implementations as large or larger than mine? Would it be a good fit for us?

Thanks.

Claude

Hello Claude,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Product, we're glad to greet you on our Forum.

1-100 is a number of machines one appliance can handle without any issues. If you have more machines, just install the second one.
