Delete Agent - not via console
Hello,
I would like to ask if there's some other way to delete/unregister Agent, other than uninstalling the application or manually deleting it in the console.
For example something like acrocmd command or register_agent.exe + some command/attribute (I'm aware only of "register" attribute)
Reason for that is that we have quite a lot "zombie" Agents which stay in Acronis console after the PC is "scrapped" and our users complain, that deleting the Agent and its backups should be part of our automatic scrapping process (EOL). Basically, they don't want to do it manually...
Deleting backups is most probably a no-go , as the acrocmd command requires complete name of the archive (can't use just the Agent name as a filter) and this varies depending on the backup plan name.
Also - we are using deduplication, so some external script deleting backup files/archives directly on the storage node server is not usable for this case.
Agent unregistration/deletion sounds more possible, but I can't find anything about it, so maybe there's no other way? Checked acrocmd manual, userguide, BP guide and Acronis KBs, but couldn't find anything.
Thank you
Lukas

Hello Péter,
thank you very much for your response and tips!
The problem with naming scheme is, that there's not just one - we have over 40 storage nodes in different locations around the world and every one of them is maintained by different users and although we standardize some stuff and give them recommendations, how they create backup plans is up to them in the end.
But the archive name should always incude the PC name, so perhaps we will be able to make it work somehow (with acrocmd list archives, as you pointed out).
Thanks a lot with the unregister tip, so simple...
I will mark your response as a solution, as the unregistration was the main thing I was interested in.
