Does All-In-One require DNS entry.

Thread needs solution

Deployed All-in-one appliance (in Workgroup).  We did not enter a DNS address.  Acronis fails to add any Physical machines with agents.  Agent was installed manually on physical machine with IP of All-in-One as the Management Server.  If we try to ADD the physical machine from the Management Console selecting Windows Server a window opens to download an installer and hangs.  When we have set these up in the past (Domain environment) it would request a name or IP of the physical machine.  Will the appliance function in a workgroup or without a DNS entry?  Anything we should check?

The appliance should work fine if you simply use its IP address, without using DNS.
