Logoff indication when registering Acronis Agent

Thread solved

Hello.

When adding an agent to the Acronis Management Server, only certain devices are marked for logoff.

I tried to solve the problem by referring to the information below.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The issue has been fixed in Update 5 (Build 16180), please update to the latest build.

To work around the issue without updating, do the following:

On the Management Server, disable IPv6 protocol in network adapter properties: right-click on the Network icon on the system tray and click on Open Network & Internet Settings -> Change Adapter Options -> right-click on your network adapter and select Properties. Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 checkbox:

Restart Acronis Service Manager service;
Manually add the affected machine to Management Server using RegisterAgentTool: see this article for instructions;
If needed, reenable IPv6 protocol in network adapter properties, then restart Acronis Service Manager service.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, IPv6 is already turned off for both the management server and the agent.
I have updated both the management server and the agent to build 16327, but still only one of those devices is listed as logged off.

When the management server is installed on the agent device, it is displayed as online normally, but when registered as an existing management server with RegisterAgentTool, the device is displayed as logoff.

Even if I remove the agent at all and specify the management server during the installation process, the result is the same.

What more should I try?

Hello Lemoning,

thank you for posting this question on Acronis forums!

Please make sure that there are no connectivity issues between Agent and AMS (stable connection from Agent to AMS using the provided AMS name/IP, the port 9877 is open, Acronis services are running, a third-party app is not blocking the connection).

If everything is fine and IPv6 was disabled during Agent registration, then please open a case with Acronis Support Team .
