Acronis 12.5 Hotfix for Error code: 7 'Disk is not found.

Thread needs solution

I am currently running Acronis 12.5 and when converting a backup to VM it gives the error, "Message: Failed to prepare operations. Error code: 7 'Disk is not found. Ensure that all the hard disks are installed in the machine.'".  I've read that there is a hotfix for this.  Does anyone have a link for it?  Our maintenance expired three weeks ago, so we can't submit a support ticket to get the hotfix.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We regret to know that you've encountered with this issue (ABR-233514).

At first please also check that you followed the troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify that virtual disk that is mentioned in the error message exists and was not renamed or moved. 
  2. Verify that snapshot creation in Hyper-V works properly. Refer to Acronis Backup: Troubleshooting Hyper-V snapshot issues

If it does not help, we recommend that you request the build with a hotfix from Acronis Support Team engineers.
