Acronis Backup 12.5: Failed to access the Acronis web console due to bad gateway

Thread needs solution

Hi,

Appreciate if you could suggest on how to resolve this issue, thanks.

Please see below upon checking on the AMS (CentOS 6.6)

1. Login to AMS as root.

2. Upon checking, all Acronis services are currently stopped except for acronis_ams.

3. Acronis services repeatedly stopped upon restarting all the services.

4. Check /usr/sbin, Acronis Managed Machine Service is not available or missing

5. Check /var/log/message,

Hello genreb,

please collect Linux system report  from CentOS machine with AMS and HAR logs from a browser you use for connecting to AMS. Please share then with Acronis Support Team who will need this information to analyze what blocks the connection.

Hi,

after clean installation of AcronisBackupAppliance, first login, if credentials are correct, you just fall on a Bad Gatway page. Looking on the log files I saw that during boot the web service was not able to modify the folder

/var/lib/Acronis/MonitoringServer/Logs

because permissions. The installer leave the ownership of this folder this folder to root. Changing the owner of this Logs folder from root to acronis_mon and rebooting it will work.

chown acronis_mon:acronis /var/lib/Acronis/MonitoringServer/Logs

does the job.
