Acronis Cyber Backup announcement
Dear Acronis Community,
Meet the new name of Acronis Backup – Acronis Cyber Backup.
This change is made in response to the modern requirements and challenges faced by individuals and organization in the area of data protection.
Whether you’re protecting your own organization’s data or you’re a service provider responsible for multiple customers, backup without cybersecurity is no longer enough. But cybersecurity without backup and disaster recovery isn’t enough either. You must tackle data protection and cybersecurity needs simultaneously.
It’s clear there’s a need for Acronis’ cyber protection services, which can address all modern business needs by ensuring the safety, accessibility privacy, authenticity, and security of data (SAPAS, or the Five Vectors of Cyber Protection described in the IDC whitepaper).
