Backing up to Google Drive via a locally mounted folder

Thread needs solution

I am trying ot backup to a local folder created by installing Google File Stream. When creating the backup task I'm trying to select G:\ and every conceivable username/password combination is failing. Does anyone know exactly what credentials I should be using? I tried username, username@domain.domain, local users, etc.

Has anyone else done this successfully?

Hello Robert,

welcome to Acronis forums!

Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 does not officially support Google Drives as backup locations.

I understand that's the case. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten it to work. Specifically the credentials needed to access the Google Drive mounted drive with a drive letter.

Hello Robert.

I suspect that the problem with accessing backups for recovery may appear if the backup is located on the Google drive. However, we appreciate your idea and forward it as a feature request to the Product team.
