Thread needs solution

Hello everyone and happy new year!

I am using Acronis, specifically the Disaster Recovery feature on a Windows 10 PC.

I am trying to back up a network share (an old debian 5 NAS).

Once I put the IP of the NAS, it asks me for my username and password (in "domain \ user" format).

The credentials are accepted and so far everything is normal, in fact Acronis makes me browse the share and select the files and folders that I want to include in the backup.

When I "apply", it confronts me with an error message, telling me that the credentials are incorrect.

So I tried to create a shared folder on Windows Server 2019 but also here same problem.

Same problem with FreeNas. I have enabled all possible SMB permissions, disabled firewall etc ... It makes me think it is an Acronis agent (version 15.0 26077) pinboard.

Are any of you aware of these errors?

Many thanks in advance!

Hello Marco,

Welcome to Acronis forums!

Sorry for the delayed response and for your negative experience with this issue.

The issue has been fixed on all Acronis data centers in the middle of January. For more details please consult this KB article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/67884
