Ich bekomme mit Acronis 12.5 immer wider die Fehler Meldung "Das Ziellaufwerk hat zu wenig freien Speicherplatz."

Thread needs solution

Beim Backup als VM Widerherstellen kommt dieser Fehler

Command has failed. Command=Eine virtuelle Maschine wiederherstellen; tenantID=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

This error occurs when restoring as a VM

Command has failed. Command = Restore a virtual machine; tenantID = 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

The volume from the drive backup cannot be restored. The target drive has insufficient free space.

The backup I want to restore is about 100GB in size and from a 500GB HDD

on drive C: system I have 650GB free

on drive E: where the backup should be restored as VHDx, I also have about 700GB free

where does this error come from and what kind of memory is full or not big enough

What can I do about it?

Hello info Falk!

Could you please share the complete log of this failed activity and your build version?

This looks like an issue that would require some investigation. Contact support and have them take a look at it.

Hello Info Falk,

welcome to Acronis forums!

If you are sure that insufficient space is not a cause of this issue, then please check source and target drives for file system errors with check disk command:

  1. Go to the Command Line: Start -> in search, type cmd and press Enter.
  2. Enter the following command:
    chkdsk DISK: /r
where DISK is the drive you want to check, for example, C:

After that please recreate a backup of the source drive and reattempt the recovery.

ok next time i save the whole log and post it

i use

Build: 14330
Web Console Service: V.12.5.3836
Backup Management Server: V.12.5.14330
Backup Management Console: V.12.5.3687

-----------------------------------------------------------------

and i know that "chkdsk /R" on the System Drive C: fix this error but if i would recovery 3 machins i can't "chkdsk /R" betwean this recoverys this needs mutch time and if i "chkdsk /R" the System drive i need to Reboot

this is no option

on this machin works mutch more not only the Recoverys

-----------------------------------------------------------------

if i have time i reinstall the whole machine to make sure that it doesn't come from Windows itself

Hello Falk.

In this situation, I can recommend booting your target VM with Acronis Bootable Media and restoring a backup by separate disks/vaults.
