Inaccessible Boot Device
Dear Community,
I ran into an issue during the xmas holdiays and I hope someone of you is able to give me a hint into the right direction (without setting up all DC).
Here is what happens:
Windows Server 2016 is installed on an NVME Disc inside of a usual PC. Now during the holidays this PC died and I got a real Server with XEON Processor and RAID-Controller.
Luckily my customer is using Acronis 12.5 and made BACKUPS. Now when I try to restore the discs into the Server, the restore process runs fine and I'm also able to use UNviersal Restore to put in all new driver files but when I do the restart the Windows Bootloader starts up and crashes with "INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE", With the third try it boots into the Recovery Console which shows me that it couldn't detect any HDD. When I do a drvload cmd with the drivers I can see all drives. I tried the followoing cmds without success:
sfc /scannow -> no OS found
bcdedit /enum -> shows bootloader and windows partition
bcdedit /rebuildbcd can't find any installation
It just looks for me like the winbootloader can't load the nessecary drivers is that correct? And is it somehow possible to implement the drivers correctly?
Kind regards
Hannes
