Inquiry about the "Performance and backup window" option

Thread solved

Hello.

The "Performance and backup window" option has a value of "CPU priority".
Is the "CPU priority" option the CPU priority of the management server? Is it the agent's CPU priority?
In addition, if the "CPU priority" option is set to High and the "Output speed" option is set to 100%, will the total CPU usage peak during the user-specified time period? Or is it only the amount of CPU allocated to Acronis being used a lot?

Thank you

Hello Lemoning!

It is the CPU priority of the agent that's performing the action. I imagine this option has the same affect as "process-priority" in acrocmd, and according to the user guide it has the same effect as setting the priority on the service process in windows task manager. Actual usage will vary on overall system resources, load and network usage and may or may not peak at 100% CPU.

I never checked the actual CPU usuage, but from experience I only set it high when I don't want to use to machine for anything else and want maximum processing speed.
