Questions regarding the Acronis family.

Thread solved

Hello.
Questions regarding the Acronis family.

My client is looking for a high-capacity backup solution that can back up 7TB to 15TB of data at once.

However, I know that Acronis 12.5 recommends backups up to 4TB.
(Actually, I know that it was unstable when I tested the backup over 4TB.)

Do you have any Acronis product that can reliably back up 7TB~15TB data?

Thank you.

Hello Lemoning.

However, I know that Acronis 12.5 recommends backups up to 4TB.

There are no such limitations for Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5.

If your client is going to prepare storage with NTFS file system for large backups, for better handling of large files it is recommended to set a 64 KB NTFS allocation unit size and enable support for large file record segments (FRS) on the partition: see Formatting requirements for large files in this document for more information.

(Actually, I know that it was unstable when I tested the backup over 4TB.)

I suppose that you've encountered this problem "Windows error: (0x80070299) The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation" or "Cannot write data to file <path> due to a file system limitation" - we suggest following workarounds described in this KB article.
