Rapid Ransomware Affecting Management Console - CANNOT RESTORE PLEASE HELP
Hi Everyone,
I am in a little bit of a tight spot. I am running a Dell T320 with a few Hyper V servers running off of it. The host computer is running Windows Server 2012 R2, as is the Hyper-V's. I am just realizing this morning that the host server was infected with Ransomware. It has not spread to the Hyper-V servers yet which are acting as my file servers and SQL servers.
The problem I am having is that the backups were run using Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5. This was running on the host server and now I cannot access the Management Console to start the restore process. I located the backup files in the Acronis Vault on my NAS boxes and they are unaffected. How can I go about booting into an Acronis restore functionality so that I can restore the localhost server from the backups I have saved? This is a huge problem as I cannot access any of my backups through the management console. I am at a loss for what to do. Please help! Thanks in advance.
