TAPE TL1000 and Acronis

Thread needs solution

Looking for support info for Dell TAPE TL1000 and Acronis Cyber Backup Advanced on server 2016 standard.
Backups begin but end at 12% with an error:

"cannot find a media with free space in "mypool" in pool "tapetest" and with tape set. Insert a media with free space to "tapetest" and click retry or click cancel to break operation".

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Hello Donavan,

When you added the tape device to your management console, did you perform an inventory?

Please run Inventory after inserting a tape, then move this tape to Free tapes pool and run a backup task again.
