VM Backup failed with error: failed to delete Snapshot

Thread needs solution

Hello,

We running Acronis 12.5 All-In-One-Appliance with the latest Update.

Currently we running multiple VM Guest Backups into the Acronis Cloud without any Issues, except one VM where we getting every Day the same Error Message. All Backups starting at the same Time because we have enough Bandwidth from our internal Network into the Cloud. As a workaround i`ve recreated the Backup Plan for the failed VM, but no luck. Also i`ve checked the VM but could not found any Issue. From the Logs it`s says Network Error or something like this but other VM Backups running at the same Time and don`t having this Kind of Error. However, other Log Entry sounds like an Acronis Archiv seems to be corrupt. I`ve attached both Logs so maybe someone can have a look into this, because maybe i missunderstand somethings.

any Help would be welcome !

Thanks,

Mario

Hello Mario,

thank you for posting on Acronis forums!

Both of these activity logs reveal the same errors:

| error 0x40016: Network disconnected by timeout.
| error 0x29b000d: Peer did not respond or did not hold deadline

This issue does not concern backup archive corruption but network issues.

All Backups starting at the same Time because we have enough Bandwidth from our internal Network into the Cloud. As a workaround i`ve recreated the Backup Plan for the failed VM, but no luck.

Please clarify whether all your VMs are backed up to the same backup location and with the same Agent (the same backup plan). If yes for both questions, then we recommend contacting Acronis Support Team for investigation.
