Can't update storage location

Thread needs solution

So I created a backup location to a NAS using the IP address. I then added that backup location to dozens of different storage plans for a whole range of servers. Due to a takeover, the IP address of the NAS has now had to change but everything else remains.

According to Acronis Support I have to add a new backup location and go through all 80 plans and select the new location manually, instead of simply going to backup storage and editing the location.

Very ordinary from Acronis. I guess the lesson here is to use DNS.
