Offering items required for infra component registration are not available

Thread solved

Hello,

We are very new to Acronis Cyber products. We are following the 'Add Public Cloud' section of the admin guide.

I'm a bit in the dark about adding Public Cloud 'Wasabi to the 'Storage location in Acronis Cyber Infrastructure. After filling in all the required information we get at the creation screen this error:

Offering items required for infra component registration are not available, needed caps: 1, available caps: 0

We have a valid working Wasabi account with active buckets, we also have a valid Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Account, we are using the partner account for adding the storage. We are using a valid public DNS name with resolves to our public IP address. We have, in the router a portwarding of TCP port 44445 to the internal IP address of the Acronis Cyber Infrastructure server.

Can anyone tell me what's going wrong?

Kind regards,

Hello Victor.

Thanks for contacting!

Please check the following KB regarding the issue and apply the solution : https://kb.acronis.com/content/70345

Thanks in advance!

Hello Jose Pedro,

Thank you for responding to our question. I saw this KB article but I don't know how and where I can check "Partner-owned backup storage offering item is not enabled for the issued partner tenant by an upper-level administrator"

The other two requirements are just fine, we used the Partner Login for that..

Kind regards, Victor

Hello Victor.

Let's check the following:  https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisCyberProtect…

Does your cloud account was enabled with Partner-owned backup storage offering? Are you service provider? Or did you requested your service provider to enable? Because if they don't enable the offering in your account you won't be able to register.

In the tenant the offering should look like this in order to work, so please make sure this is settled this way:

If you have those partner resources enabled in your tenant, please let me know what's your MSP account so we can raise a ticket with support.

Thanks.

Hello Jose Pedro,

Thank you, but I can't see the image_2022-12-30_12-24-41.png, it isn't clickable.. I've asked the distributor of Acronis if we do have such a license..

King regards, Victor

Hey Victor.

Please let me know after what your distributor told you.

If they replied it's active please ask them if you are entitled for direct support with us ( they know that information ). If they tell you are, please let me know what's your MSP ID in private message ( so I can contact our support because this issue may require remote access to your infrastructure ). Thanks.

Good afternoon Jose Pedro,

Thank you for the given support, you pointed us to the right direction of the solution. There was indeed an configuration issue at Acronis, where we didn't have the right options to add the Wasabi Bucket to the Storage location.

After the Acronis engineers have given us the rights, it works like charm, we already are backupping our first node!

Thanks again..

Kind regards, Victor
