Backup to acronis cloud too slow

Thread needs solution

I have a backup of a machine to my Acronis Cloud backup that lasts several hours with too slow progress.
Can anyone point me to the reason for this slowness?

Hello Karim there are many reasons that can affect the speed of the backup. From internal to external.

For example, if it's the first backup for that device that behavior it's expected, the first backup to the cloud is always slow. https://kb.acronis.com/content/7963

It's always expected the backups to take more than the normal if it's a full backup. You should check the size of the disks VS the the speed of upload ( note: the speed of upload it's not the one you check with the internet provider but the one to our datacenter )

Can happen also the device is overloaded or in production while you execute the backups, so schedule them to another hour may increase the speed.
