Build 31791 - wrong display of Antivirus enabled visible in CP Monitor alttho

Thread needs solution

Hey there,

Today I updated to the latest build (31791).

We have licensec Acronis Cyber Protect 15 - Advanced Backup

So we have no Antivirus from Acronis.

But in the Cyber Protect Monitor on the Machines we see on some of them an activated real time Antivirus....

Why?

Hello Sven.

Please re-check the console and the backup plans. If the A.Virus is active in there, please disable it. If the A.Virus isn't active in the plan, you should contact our support so we can troubleshooting the issue because at the moment I don't have references of any known issue related to this behavior you jus described . https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153

 

Well Jose, as I only have Cyber Protact Backup Advanced, I cannot acivate it.
But I checked the plans and there is no Antivir enabled.

So I opened a ticket.

Currently it is still stated to be "new" with "low prio"....
Maybe this time someone at Acronis works on the ticket without the need of reminding them after some days, that there is a ticket. 
As I pay for the support this is my - maybe too high - expectation, but it never worked in the past few years.

Typically the result of the ivestigation normally was "you must reinstall the tool".....let´s see if it is the same this time.

The supporter now demanded a Zoom Meeting to collect data although I already sent a link to a system log and also plans and screenshots.

Why a Zoom Meeting if the infirmation are already available?

What I am wondering:

If I click on the CP Monitor it states "Schutz ist aktiviert" that mens "protection is enabled"

 

The Tooltip in the taskbar shows the following:

 

Realtime Antivirus is OFF .

Huh ?
Again one of the big misteries of Acronis?
Seems to be a GUI issue - as so often?

I commented the issue with our support and I clarified the situation. If a RS is needed probably it will be made soon to apply a solution.
