Cannot backup subdirectory on SMB share, invalid credentials BUG
\\servername\share
works as a backup source.
\\servername\share\folder (browse the share and select a subfolder to back up)
fails with invalid credentials, using the exact same credentials.
Looks like there is a bug here, anybody know of workarounds? My NAS doesn't allow me to share that folder as a separate share.
There is also another annoying bug in the network share select UI, where it automatically expands all subfolders when you add a share, but the "-" to collapse the subfolders doesn't work (nothing happens when you click on it). If you add several shares, the list becomes super long and extremely difficult to navigate.

Thanks but I'm not sure you read my post. The same credentials work for the root folder. This is clearly a bug.
I can't open a support ticket because this is a pre-sales issue, I'm using the trial. The web UI won't let me open a ticket on a product I don't own. So I guess I won't be buying this software.

Hello Stanko,
This thread is quite outdated.
If you are facing issues with the SMB, please raise a ticket with our support, providing screenshots that illustrate the problem, along with the system report of one machine: https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153
Best regards.
