Cannot connect to the Cyber Protect Agent

Thread needs solution

Hi,

A couple of days ago my Acronis Cyber Protect Standard has stopped working. See attachments for error messages.

I have tried repair install and manually registering.

The only thing i can think of that has caused this is changing the administrator password....

Windows 2012 R2

Dear Nick Jones,
Thank you for reaching out. As far as we understand, you have an on-premises installation, with a Management Server and Agent on the same machine? Please make sure that all Acronis services are started (e.g. Acronis Management Service, Managed Machine Service, etc.) Also check that there are no issues with the network card and that it is present and enabled (https://kb.acronis.com/content/67326). Make sure that a firewall is not blocking any necessary ports (https://kb.acronis.com/firewallsettings).

Thank you for the reply. Seems can be caused by the password change. Tested by changing back to original password and rebooted. Service restored.

Any advice? As changing password is a must

Hello Nick!

When the password was changed have you also changed it for acronis services?

Also was it only a password change, or an account change as well?
