Continuous Data Protection Not Available
The feature to enable continuous data protection appears when the product (Acronis Cyber Protect 15) is install, with Trial Mode still enabled. Once the license is applied to the system, this feature becomes unavailable. Support informs me that this feature is only available with the Cloud Version of Acronis Cyber Protect 15, but the products page, and the Help Documentation, state otherwise. Support informs me that this feature will become available soon, but it not a feature of the on-premise version.
1) Why does it appear in the sales brochure?
2) Why does it appear on the product page?
3) Why is it mentioned, and detailed, how to enable this feature in the Help for the On-Premise version, if it is not available?
If this was just because of a license that is needed, which license would that be? We currently have Acronis Backup Advanced SUBSCRIPTION LICENSE, for our environment.
Clarification in this matter is welcomed.

Ekaterina,
My version is Acronis Cyber Protect 15
The support documentation does not distinguish between Cyber Protect 15 or Cyber Backup 15. All marketing and support documentations treat them as the same product. The support documentations shows Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5, then Acronis Cyber Protect 15. Clicking on any documentation link within the product, takes me to Acronis Cyber Protect 15. My license, when we upgraded, was to transfer to Acronis Cyber Protect 15 Advanced, from Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 Advanced.
Tech support tells me that CDP is not a part of the On-Premise install, and only for Cloud.

Hello John!
Acronis Cyber Protect 15 has 5 editions:
Acronis Cyber Backup (perpetual or subscription):
- Acronis Cyber Backup Standard
- Acronis Cyber Backup Advanced
Acronis Cyber Protect (subscription only):
- Acronis Cyber Protect Essentials
- Acronis Cyber Protect Standard
- Acronis Cyber Protect Advanced
For a full comparative table of the options available in different editions please refer to this article.
Please share with us via a Private Message your license so that we could check your edition.
As for CDP support, this feature will be added to the on-premise product in one of the nearest releases. The reason why it hasn't been implemented earlier is the licensing issue: to support CDP, an on-premise solution should support Advanced Cloud licensing. It is being developed right now

The comparative table CLEARLY states that CDP is supported with Acronis Cyber Protect 15 Advanced. Not cloud.
If I run the product in Trail Mode, I have the option to use CDP. Once my license is applied, it is no longer available. But when we upgraded from Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 Advanced to Acronis Cyber Protect 15 Advanced, we were informed that all features of the advanced license would be present.
In the web console, and in the account.acronis.com console, it shows this license:
Acronis Cyber Backup Advanced
The Management Console indicates that we are running Acronis Cyber Protect 15.
So, I take it that the license we have is for Acronis Cyber Backup 15, not Acronis Cyber Protect 15, as we were told.
The documentation and the article you linked to, both state Acronis Cyber Protect 15, not Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud.
The feature list for Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud shows CDP:

My point in all this, is that I keep being told that the feature is ONLY in the Cloud version and not On-Premise. But, it appears to me, that the marketing, support articles and product documentation all indicate that the CDP feature is there for On-Premise use. If my license needs to be addressed, then I can get behind that, but being told that the feature is only for Cloud use, does not correlate with what the documentation says.

The manual doesn't, but the various licence, edition and upgrade related articles do. From what I gathered you expected your Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 Advanced licence to be upgraded to Acronis Cyber Protect 15 Advanced, which as per your screenshot should cover CDP.
As I understand 12.5 advanced licence upgrades to Cyber Protect 15 Advanced (Backup) edition so the second column in the upper table.

Dear John,
thank you for your patience! I've clarified the situation - the CDP feature is definitely available in the on-premises installation, sorry for the confusion. The reason why the feature wasn't available in your setup was exactly the licensing limitation of Acronis Cyber Backup edition. To make up for the bad experience, we upgraded your licenses to Acronis Cyber Protect edition for 1 year. To synchronize the subscription keys, click Sync and sign in. The CDP feature should be available after that.
