Cyber Protect 15 - Standalone - Protection plan has been revoked

Thread needs solution

This is related to Acronis Cyber Protect Build 15.0 - Server Version 15.0.29486

The issue we are having is we just upgraded from 12.5 to 15.0 and after applying and re-applying the licenses we are getting the following error message when the backup gets to about 95% completed "Protection plan "Server" has been revoked from ‘server’ due to a licensing issue." We have tried reactivating licenses and revoking servers from backups then re-adding the server to a backup plan or a new plan.
Backups do not finish, they fail with the above error.
Error message is consistantly "Protection plan "Server" has been revoked from ‘server’ due to a licensing issue."
The only change made which is a big one is that we upgraded from 12.5 to 15.0.

This is not a cloud version, we have a standalone configuration with no internet access.

I have obviously searched the internet for a resolution with no success following kb's. I do have an open support ticket with Acronis, however I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.

Dear customer,
It seems like it is an unusual issue. We see your case in our system, it is under investigation.
Let us know if you need any assistance with the ticket. We hope that our engineers will help you as soon as possible.

I have (I think) the same issue and have now waited over a week with no response from the support team at all, let alone an actual solution. Based on that I will be advising we don't renew the support contract.
