Exporting Backup Plans

Thread solved

Hoping someone has the answer to this.

Is there any way to export and import backup plans? The reason I ask is that if I have to recover my server (which is where the agent is located) to an earlier version, it also recovers Acronis Cyber Protect and all my backup plans to that date. Any plans that I have created since the backup are then gone and have to be recreated.

Thanks

Hello Craig!

If you select any plan type there should be an import plan action available on the right. If you select a plan by checkbox, export should also be available. For some reason I can't attach a screenshot of this.

If you are using a dedicated MSSQL server for acronis db you can also just do hourly incremental backup of acronis dbs to preserve Acronis Management Server state.

Hi Peter,

I don't see that option. Here is a screenshot of the only options available.

Hello Craig!

This is the menu for a specific machine. Browse the Plans on the main menu on the left and select this "USB F Driver Backup" plan to see the import/export options. Same procedure for replication, cleanup etc. plans.

I think I've found the answer. Plans management is only part of Cyber Protect 15 Advanced, I have the Standard version.

Looks so. I had this idea, but it wasn't clear to me whether the feature "Centralized backup plans for multiple machines" is the one that covers this functionality.
