Help with "There is not enough free space"

Thread needs solution

I can't seem to figure this out.  All of my datastores have ample memory and so do my backup destinations (note 2 destinations as backup locations).  What other disk space would they be talking about?

I am backing up a number of VMs.  This just started.

Hello Tom,

You need to check the full error code because that can mean several things.

I would check if there are VSS issues such as a lack of space to store the snapshots and disk space.

Please review and apply the solutions in this Knowledge Base (KB): https://kb.acronis.com/content/31418.

Also, create snapshots manually in those VMs and delete them to see if it's possible. If there are errors, you must fix the tools of those VMs.

As a test, try to perform a backup with the VSS disabled: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisCyberProtect_15/#volume-shadow-copy-service-for-virtual-machines.html#kanchor950.

I was able to backup and delete every VM I have.  Here is the detailed error log:
