How to delete VM from Hyper-V for Acronis?

Thread needs solution

I have Cyber Protect running on a Hyper-V host (be gentle--I know very little about this stuff). There are two VMs. I need to permanently delete one of the VMs. How do I remove it from Acronis since it doesn't show up under devices with agents?

I don't want to delete the VM then realize I should have done something in Acronis first to remove the association.

Hello Jean,

if you have an Agent for Hyper-V installed on the host machine (not on the VM itself), then the list of VMs shall be synchronized with the actual state on the host, no actions needed. If you'd have an Agent installed in the guest OS of the VM in question, it would be displayed among the machine with Agents instead of the virtual machines list.
