How to migrate management server to a new maschine?

Hi,

how i can migrate the existing management server to a new machine?

I know, i can install it new from scratch, but this can't be the solution every time.

Also, i can export/import the backup plans but not the storage locations?

I did this 2,5 years ago already, and it is very troublesome. Acronis tells me at that time, the possibility for migration will be soon available.

So, it is now possible?

If yes, how?

Is backing up the machine and restoring to a new machine not an option? 

There's also this KB, altough it also doesn't address all the configuration tasks you'll still have to do after "migration": https://kb.acronis.com/content/8808

Hi Peter,

restore to the new machine is not an option, because i've to switch the OS from 2012 to 2022.
The KB contend is for Acronis Backup 11.5. I use Cyber Protect 15.

Sad that Acronis are not able to implement a config "backup/restore" for the management server.
I can backup and restore so many things with it, but not itself. Crazy......

Right, sorry. There's a KB for newer versions as well, but it's similiarly unhelpful for your situation. An interesting feature is that you can't even export your backup plans if you only have standard edition licenses.

I guess tools for migration really aren't a priority.
