Hi, 

Please see email from Google below (as image);  

Today I tried to send a test email and it failed to send from Acronis Cyber Protect 15 settings page. 

I went to this article - https://kb.acronis.com/content/59775

I followed the instructions, but the article is out of date as Google doesn't allow for "Less secure apps", as confirmed by visiting their settings page; 

 

Is Acronis going to patch this so we can continue to use Gmail services for email notification? It is an essential service for failed backups etc.
