Several big issues with Cyber Protect 15 Bootable Media
1) It will not let you restore to smaller disks. The disks at the very least need to be the same size or bigger. This just started with V15. Prior to that you could restore disk images to smaller disks and before someone bring it up it isn't usage. I have a 2TB server image where only 20% of it is in use. 11.7 will let me restore the image to a 1TB disk but 15 will not.
2) The bootable media has a "Load Driver" option that does not work and support has no idea which drivers I need to download to get it to work. I built it with WinPE so I would assume I need Windows X64 drivers but support has never been any help with getting the "Load Driver" option to work.
3) There is nothing to tell you that the Universal Restore worked or added a driver. Very poor programming. I opened a similar thread a couple weeks ago you can fine below. I had to add an Intel RST driver when creating a boot media just to get it to recognize a hard drive but when I tried to universal restore that same driver to a computer it did not work.
All-in-all the bootable media creator is pretty much useless for these reason. Has anyone else encountered any of there or know of a fix to any of them?.

1) Absolutely positive. I have to revery back to version 11.7 to accomplish this. With 11.7 it will adjust the volumes automatically when you restore the entire disk. You never had to mess with volumes.
2) Thanks but no thanks. I am done dealing with Acronis because, as this thread points out, they have no support. It would be a total waste of time.

Hello Jim!
MVPs are not Acronis employees, what we can help with is in no way a reflection of what Acronis Support could.
Personally I have used and didn't have problems with either functionality, but I frequent the ACPHO forums enough to know other MVPs have far more experience dealing with similar issues.
