WinPE & Win11 AIK
Updated my AIK to 10.0.22000.1. Using the media builder I can't find the correct path for the WinPE files. Whether I choose Create WinPE automatically or Use WinPE files in the folder I specify.
I thought it used to be one of the paths below - or their equivalent had I used copype to create a custom one.
c:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\Media\
c:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\Media\Sources

Hello rkh,
thank you for posting on Acronis forums!
Could you please check if this KB article describes your situation?
https://kb.acronis.com/content/68324
Please also make sure that you downloaded the WinPE add-on for the Windows ADK

Interesting article, but someone in QA should really test this and confirm it actually works for them - using the version of AIK I referenced above.
1. Prior to installing the latest AIK, media builder worked fine on this machine.
2. WinPE add-on is installed.
3. Environment variables have never been required for this to work. To prove the point I opened a WinPE command prompt which does set the variables and successfully executed copype. Then I navigated to the folder containing the mediabuilder executable and ran it from the command shell with the suggested variables set. Made no difference.
4. To further prove my point, I added the suggested variables to copype.cmd. It made no difference.

Hello rkh.
Our developers recommend installing ADK10 and waiting for a release with support for ADK 11.

Hello,
It's January 2024 and it appears the Acronis developers have not fixed this yet.
Using the latest bootable media builder with checksum a9c7aefe6c3a0bf8c0c623bfa6af3054.
After installing that, as well as WAIK, as well as the WinPE addon, Universal Media builder fails to detect WinPE.
I have performed the steps as mentioned in the link and the copype.cmd script works fine, but the Acronis Universal Media builder does not work.
The Acronis Rescue Media builder works perfectly fine with the setup, but not Acronis Universal Media builder.
Using WAIK 10.1.25398.1. This appears to be a version compatibility issue. I'm not sure why a specific version is being expected as anything after 10 should work just fine, so it's something in the Universal Media builder code that is incorrect.

I can confirm that as of January 2024, Acronis Universal Restore requires ADK 10 and ADK 11 is still not working.
