Can ACB-15 with Protection On be accessed from other PCs?

Thread solved

I'm just checking if ACB-15 with Protection On can be accessed from other PCs?  We keep our backups on an external drive, so we can take those external drives with us when on travel, e.g., in case some event destroys our PCs.  The files are password protected.

We have not had problems with previous versions of Acronis, but I want to be sure that v-15 has not changed anything with regard to Protection.

Unfortunately, the backups are just too large to regularly upload to the cloud, since we do Full backups the first of the month and incremental backups nightly.

Hello Lester,

thank you for posting on Acronis forums!

No, there should not be any issues with accessing your backups with Acronis Cyber Protect 15 version. The antivirus and antimalware protection functions do not interfere with the regular backup/restore functionality.
