Cannot assign Acronis Office 365 licenses to mailboxes

Thread needs solution

Since release of Acronis Cyber Protect and upgrading/and or clean install of Acronis Cyber Protect 15 on premise at some customers Office 365 mailboxes cannot be backed up (for all customers with that version).

If I attempt to assign licenses I can select the mailboxes, but if I click the Done button, no license is assigned, just as if the Finish button has the functionality of the (non existent) Cancel button.

This still happens with build 15.0.25729, changing language from German to English does not fix the behavior either.

Acronis support is of no help here (waiting for development to fix the issue), which is a no go with a paid subscription model for such a long time.

The workaround recommended by support to install a trial of management server on a different machine is not possible for some customers due to lack of adequate machines and due to the time the issue is already unfixed.

We regret to know that you encounter this issue. 

This is a known issue (ABR-296364) that has already been fixed. The fix is included in Update 1 which should be released shortly.
