Dear community,

during upgrading from 12.5 to 15, I experienced this issue:
Upgraded StorageNode shows offline, no IP on the management server, instead its url (like /agents/xxxxxxxx-d649-48bb-a58d-xxxxxxxxxx).
Without success, I tried:
-deletion from the managementserver
-registration to the tenant on the managementserver
-reregistration to the tenant on the managementserver
-rebooting the storagenode
-uninstalling storagenode feature
-installing storagenode feature

Nothing seemend to work. Supportcase 04641262 brought a solution.

The trick was the proxy configuration. During installation, systems current proxy settings are read and written into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\Global\HttpProxy ( acronis (dot) com/de-de/support/documentation/AcronisCyberProtect_15/index.html#47049.html ).
No matter what you change in systems proxy setting, the registry key persists. What a bummer!

I could recommend having a dive into the logs, when having issues ( C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\ASN\logs ).

Regards SEGB
