Universal Restore Failes

Thread needs solution

i have restored a full disk back-up using the Boot_media.iso from the Cyber Protect Console.

I've selected the partition from the backup, added driver folder, and after the restore it gives me a "inaccessable_boot_device" BSOD.

I tried the bootrec.exe /RebuilBCD and /ScanOS, but it seems to miss the RAID drivers (total identified windows installations: 0), since there is no OS and i can't read the partition in the windows repair console.

any ideas?

Hello BAG Aaldering,

Welcome to Acronis forums!

We always recommend following these detailed instructions when restoring to new/dissimilar hardware: https://kb.acronis.com/content/35681

I've selected the partition from the backup, added driver folder, and after the restore it gives me a "inaccessable_boot_device" BSOD.

Please share your "What to recover" screenshots. Please make sure that you selected a boot disk with MBR.

but it seems to miss the RAID drivers (total identified windows installations: 0)

Please prepare the necessary drivers as described in the Preparation part of the KB article shared above.
