Acronis Protect agents offline on client lock

Thread needs solution

Hi Everyone,

We are currently trialling Acronis Cyber Protect, spefically with the vulnerability/ patch management & device control modules. I have found on machines running Windows 10&11, when they go to lock screen, in the console, the icon is dimmed and the agent is marked as offline. The status is still listed as ok. The machine is on, just locked.

When the agent is listed as offline, it cannot be scanned for vulnerabilities, or have patches installed. Is this expected behaviour, or can this be changed via a setting? In production most of our client machines will be updated at night when they are locked.

Thankyou for your help.

Paul

Dear Paul,
Thank you for reaching out. Do the machines got to sleep or hibernate mode after you lock the screen?
If so it is expected that they appear offline.
And also make sure your have all rights to execute services: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, Acronis Cyber Backup: required managed machine service user rights | Knowledge Base
