Active Protection on MacOS

Thread solved

Hello,

I'm using Cyber Protect - Advanced Edition and have a Mac workstation setup there.

When I first created the protection plan for this workstation, I couldn't enable "Antivirus & Antimalware protection", only Backup could be enabled. The error was:

"1 machine has operating system that is incompatible with the certain enabled modules. Remove the conflicting machine to create a protection plan."

If I'd click Details it would say that Active Protection conflicts with this workstation: https://a.cl.ly/xQuAzWxw

With Active Protection off, Self-protections and Cryptomining process detection can't be enabled either: https://a.cl.ly/v1uxLDP6

Is this normal or am I missing something? In the yesterday's Cyber Summit talks and in the KB/Documentation I understand that Active Protection should work on Macs too.

I'm running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

Thanks,
George

Hi!
Looks like some Antivirus and Antimalware protection features are not available for macOS. Please refer to the matrix in  https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/CyberProtectionService/#supported-cyber-protect-features-by-operating-system.html
