Error backing up files - Acronis Cyber Protect

Thread needs solution

Hi,

Im trying to configure Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud to back up files and folders from a file server.

Im getting this error:

Put the path to the OneDrive folder for the exclusions list in the protection plan. You can use Acronis Cyber Protection to create OneDrive data backups to Acronis Cloud. See: (LINK TO A HELP WEBSITE) ...

the thing is, I don't even got Microsoft OneDrive on that server, that's a simples file sharing server.

How can i bypass this error?

Kind regards

Pedro

Dear Pedro Gomes,
Thank you for reaching out.
Just to make sure we would offer to double check whether One Drive is installed on the server.
We also suggest to exclude this path from the backup:
C:\Users\[username]\OneDrive

If it does not help, we recommend to text us again.

Hi,

I have triple check and yes, Microsoft OneDrive is NOT installed anywhere.

I have inserted some locations based on your sugestion.

It did not work.

I remember that i once upon a time have installed QNAP QSYNC software and i was syncing the folder I now want o backup with Cyber Protect.

Anyway, i have uninstalled some time ago due to lack of performance.

Can it be some rest of the software that is messing with this?

Hi Pedro!

Based on that information we'll need to look deeper into the situation to see which specific files/folders are causing the error and work further from that point.

Please open a case with our support team with the affected cloud login and we will investigate further.

Thank you.
